We have deployed extensive safety and security measures throughout the property ranging from utilizing Centers for Disease Control (CDC) cleaning and disinfection protocols, social distancing, use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all employees, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved virus-killing cleaners and disinfectants.

Guest Services

  • Signage and floor markers will be placed in the lobby, elevator landings and other communal areas displaying appropriate physical distancing as well as health and hygiene reminders.
  • Touchless hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the property for guest use.
  • We ask that all guests wear face masks in public areas of The Lodge.

Employee Protocols

Our staff will follow specific daily procedures to maintain a healthy environment for all guests and employees.

  • All staff are required to use proper hand hygiene at the beginning of each shift, and on a routine basis. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the property.
  • In accordance with state and local regulations, employees will wear the appropriate PPE at all times during work shifts. Any employee who feels unwell will not report to work. Employees are required to practice physical distancing when possible while performing daily tasks.
  • All employees will receive training on COVID-19 safety protocols and best practices for sanitation and cleanliness. Staff members with frequent guest contact will be given additional comprehensive training.
  • All team members have been given clear instructions on how to respond to and report presumed cases of COVID-19. Employees who notice peers or guests exhibiting symptoms, are to notify management immediately for further action.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

We have enhanced and increased the frequency of our already rigorous cleaning procedures in all guest rooms and public areas throughout the hotel, utilizing fast acting, effective cleaning products. All cleaning agents meet CDC and EPA guidelines and standards for the elimination of viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 which causes COVID-19, and bacteria, as well as other airborne and blood borne pathogens.

  • To eliminate potential cross contamination between guests and staff, common surfaces and high touch areas will be regularly sanitized.
  • Each room will undergo deep cleaning after guest check-out, with emphasis on frequently used items. All glassware will be changed following departure and all paper publications have been removed from guest rooms.
  • All linens and bath terry will be laundered following guest departure. Decorative pillows and bed coverings have been removed from guest rooms.
  • In the event of presumptive case of COVID-19, the guest’s room will be removed from service and quarantined. The guest room will not be returned to service until the case has been confirmed or cleared. In the event of a positive case, the room will only be returned to service upon undergoing an enhanced sanitization protocol.
